WWE Gifts Stanley Cup Winners Tampa Bay Lightning With Custom Belt

The Stanley Cup Playoffs concluded on Wednesday night and new champions were crowned. The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Cup over the Montreal Canadians in a five game series. They are getting props from all over for this big win.

WWE will often send out title belts to winners of big sporting events. The Stanley Cup was no different as WWE sent out a custom World Tile belt their way. Triple H posted a photo of the belt along with a caption to celebrate Tampa Bay’s big win.

WWE and the Tampa Bay area have a fond relationship. Over the past couple of years WWE has called Tampa home and they recently hosted WrestleMania in the city. Last year’s Mania event was supposed to be in the Raymond James Stadium, but it was nixed due to the pandemic. They also ran the ThunderDome out of the city, a tenue they are wrapping up this week to go back on tour.
