Wale Reveals Illness & Announces Social Media Hiatus

Wale recently announced that he is sick and taking a break from social media. A hiatus from social media is never a terrible idea, but fans are understandably concerned about the popular rapper’s health.

The famous rapper dropped an Instagram story to announce that he is taking a break from social media. He said he is “out of commission” he’s been “extremely sick” for a few days. Wale did not reveal what is ailing him, but hopefully he can pull out of it.

“I am out of commission. I been extremely sick since Saturday. I’ve missed many calls and texts.. Thank you to everybody who called wit genuine concern. I ain’t sure how long I’ll be down but this shit ain’t slight… Soon as I can come back strong I’ll be back strong. As for now management will run my socials. Much love, see y’all soon.”

Wale has been teasing another album, but that hasn’t come to pass just yet. His Folarin 2 album could be coming this summer as he teased, but right now he’s taking a break from social media so he can get better.

We’re sure that Wale’s mentions are full of well-wishes from his millions of fans around the world. He did not give any specifics, but he will be taking a break from social media until he’s 100% once again.
