Tom Brady ended up in Tampa Bay where he remains, but there were other teams that had his interest along the way. One off-handed comment from the QB GOAT seems to have ruffled some feathers.

During HBO’s The Shop, Brady off-handedly said “that motherf*cker” when referring to a quarterback that an unnamed team picked over him. There were a few teams that talked with Brady, the Las Vegas Raiders being one of them.

Derek Carr spoke to Brother From Another recently where Tom Brady’s comments came up. Carr said that he’s cleared this up, and Brady wasn’t talking about him, but if he was then that might cause a fight challenge to be issued.

“From what I know, it wasn’t me, which is good.”

“If it was, I’ve gotten in enough trouble trying to challenge people to fights. But, as a man, Tom, I know you got the rings, but if it’s not me then we’re good. What I heard, it wasn’t me, and so I’m good with that.”

It’s still unknown who Tom Brady was talking about when he dropped the MFer bomb to describe someone. He was joking, but you also never know who can take those kind of words seriously. Derek Carr would have certainly been heated about it if Brady was actually talking about him.
