The Rock dedicated a lot of time to the Black Adam film and all that work has paid off in a big way. The Great One is in the homestretch when it comes to filming his pet project, and the world might never be the same once that film drops.

Dwayne Johnson already confirmed that this week wraps up principal filming for Black Adam. Then it is off to the races in the editing bay where they will undoubtedly add a slew of CGI to polish up the picture. One thing we know for sure is that The Rock needed zero padding to fill out that costume.

Before starting that final week of filming, The Rock posted a shot of his chiseled back along with a message about how much tough work the Black Adam film was to complete. He also thanked fans for sticking by him this entire time as he made a bold claim about how the DC Cinematic Universe is about to change in a big way.

Back to work.

I can’t thank you guys enough for all your support.
Grateful. Truly.

Almost two years of hard core, intense training, diet, character prep and execution.

You’ve been right there rockin’ with me all this time 🙏🏾👊🏾
And now it’s my turn and I hope to deliver the definitive antihero you deserve🤞🏾💪🏾

The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change.

We are still more than a year off from Black Adam’s July 29th, 2022 release date. Hopefully, that date doesn’t get pushed back even more. The pandemic posed a ton of issues with filming many projects and Black Adam was not immune to those tribulations.

The Rock seems very pleased with how Black Adam has turned out so far. We’ll be patiently awaiting our first actual glimpse of the film, because a trailer might still be a long wait for fans.

What do you expect from the Black Adam film? Sound off in the comments!
