The internet can be an unforgiving place, especially when you’re a celebrity. Shaquille O’Neal has been in the public eye for decades, and that opens him up to a lot of opinions from the general public. He recently had an opportunity to fire back at one of those critics.

Jimmy Kimmel Live featured a special NBA Finals edition of “Mean Tweets,” a popular segment where celebrities read mean tweets directed at them while they get to retort. Shaq had a response all ready when one fan took aim at his weight.

This fan, who probably never expected for their tweet to be read on national television, tweeted out to say, “Shaquille O’Neal? More like Shaquille-Hasn’t-Missed-A-Meal.” Shaq had a response for this tweet, to say the least. The NBA Hall of Famer looked directly at the camera and said.

“That’s a good one. Tell your mother to make my sandwich. And be naked when I get there. Hi Mom.”

Shaq took a moment to look at the camera and wink before saying “hi mom.” We’re not sure whose mother he was winking at there, but that fan might need to call his mama just in case.

This just goes to show that Shaquille O’Neal is still having fun, no matter where he is. There is also a very good chance that fans will see Shaq wrestle again, and his opponent might be a famous giant. That is still up in in the air, but Shaq certainly handled this hater with ease. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
