Robert Downey Jr had plenty of great times as Tony Stark, but he has left the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind. Now Iron Man is separating himself on social media as well.

The 56-year-old Avengers star recently went on an unfollowing spree that included his former Marvel castmates. Yes, Tom Holland, Spider-Man himself, was part of that mass unfollowing along with Chris Evans.

Fans are pretty upset that Downey Jr. unfollowed Captain America and Spider-Man. This came days prior to Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow drops on July 9th. The timing might have been a coincidence on that one, but fans are leaving no possibility unvisited.

“What is wrong with Robert Downey Jr changing his Instagram into business account and unfollowing all his friends :(((((((” one fan tweeted out. That pretty much summed up how a number of people felt.

Naturally, fans are replying in a big way. Some are pretty upset, and others just want answers. We have to wonder what Cap and Spidey did to deserve an unfollow. Apparently, we are not alone.

What do you think caused this unfollowing spree from Iron Man? Sound off in the comments!

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
