Tyler Posey Is Now Part Of The LGBTQ Community

Tyler Posey has revealed that he is part of the LGBTQ community and, and it was his girlfriend who triggered the introspection in him to recognize the need for the decision.

Posey, who is well known for his role on Teen Wolf, stated in an interview with NME that he’s a member of the queer community, and his girlfriend Phem was behind him finding out that he actually happens to fall “under the queer umbrella.“

I’ve been with everybody under the sun, and right now I’m in the best relationship that I’ve ever been in with a woman, and she’s queer too. She’s helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I’m sexually fluid, I guess. No, not ‘I guess’ … I don’t want anyone to take this [interview] and be like: ‘Well, he was kind of wishy-washy about it.’

The actor made it clear that he wasn’t only coming to terms with being sexually fluid. Making it a point that it was something the actor was sure about, Posey clearly meant to show the realization on himself. He also confirmed whether he’d been with both women and men.

Someone asked if I’d been with men [as well as with women], and I said yes.

With Posey coming out as part of the queer community, it’s a big win for the community. With inclusivity being an important part of American life now, Tyler’s identification with the LGBTQ only does inclusivity a world of good.
