Conor McGregor is dangerous in the Octagon, but he’s not the best. One very rich MMA manager is willing to lay down some huge money that a female fighter could make Notorious tap.

Kayla Harrison is one of the fastest rising fighters in the sport and making waves with her work in MMA. She is the PFL women’s lightweight champion, and Ali Abdelaziz bet $1 million that she could make McGregor tap out on the ground if the two ever had a fight.

“I will put up $1 million @KaylaH Will submit McGregor on the ground…”.

He followed that up with two more tweets saying: “I truly believe @KaylaH Will beat any woman 145lb ,155lb all same night and will finish some guy 135 lb in top 15,” and “PFL have the Bad ass woman on the planet.”

Kayla Harrison and Conor McGregor are inked to deals with different companies and they are also not in the same class at all. A fight between the two is likely never going to happen, so it’s a very safe bet to make because nobody will ever take it. Not to mention the fact that an intergender MMA fight would get grilled in a huge way by public sentiment.

This nod from Abdelaziz is still enough of a bode of confidence that Harrison is in another class on her own.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
