As the world moves in a pro-inclusive direction, Disney is doing its part one step at a time. Disney World in Orlando, Florida, has scrapped the traditional greeting they used at the beginning of their “Happily Ever After” fireworks show.

The greeting which was “Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls” has been changed to “Good evening, dreamers of all ages!” While it may seem unusual, Disney has been actively explicit about its awareness of gender identities, and by changing the greeting, they’ve changed how people with different gender identities might feel at the shows.

Disney has been making quite a few changes in Disney World, such as completely changing Splash Mountain into a Princess and the Frog ride. The Jungle Cruise ride is also going through changes due to concerns of racially insensitive concerns.

While many fans may not be happy with this change, Disney is doing its best to keep inclusivity running. Disney has been working on the new Jungle Cruise movie, which will cast Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt. The movie has a release of July 30th, on which Disney probably wants no controversy.
