Bill Cosby is now a free man after he was released from incarceration on a technicality. The highest court in the land in Pennsylvania decided that his criminal trial infringed on his 5th amendment rights when they used testimony from a civil trial that he gave with the assumption, at the time, that a prosecutor would not file charges on him.

There are some supporters of the call to let Bill Cosby out of prison. Others are not so happy to chime in with positive remarks.

Phylicia Rashad, who played Cosby’s on-screen wife for years, tweeted out: “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!” She also included a photo of the now-freed comedian and plenty of people freaked out.

Lil Duval also tweeted out to say, “Bill Cosby about to be free city boy win in 2021.” That sparked some controversy as it appears he took to Cosby’s defense.

Kid Cudi saw the news that Cosby was released from incarceration, but his attitude wasn’t so jovial. Instead, Cudi took aim at those who are celebrating the release of a man who had over 30 women come forward to allege sexual misconduct on him.

People that are celebrating Bill Cosby being released are f*ckin idiots.

Bill Cosby is now contemplating a lawsuit against the county where his trial took place. We’ll have to see if he follows through with that or is he simply takes this big win and carries on.
