Jada Pinkett Smith and Tupac had a thing back in the day. This came out in a big way recently with Jada posted an emotional tribute to Pac on what would have been his 50th birthday. This sparked a huge viral trend of fans saying that Will Smith was Jada’s rebound from the late rapper.

According to Napoleon’s recent interview with The Art Of Dialogue, Tupac was very upset about this situation with Jada. He was also pretty angry about the fact that Jada allegedly asked him not to beat up the Fresh Prince for taking her hand.

“The second time I probably heard him talk about her is when he went to LA. He was very upset. Pac came in the room [and] was like ‘Jada, she gonna contact me and tell me don’t do nothing to Will Smith.’ Pac was upset, and said ‘I don’t know why she think I would have tried to make some problems with Will Smith. ‘ He had a lot of love for Jada Pinkett at the time.”

Tupac is sadly no longer with us to give his two sides of the story. We can bring him back as a hologram, but it’s not the same at all, especially if you’re looking for a tell-all interview.

This tidbit of music history from Napoleon will also likely give those fans who ragged on Will Smith plenty of ammo for some new memes as well.

What’s your take on this situation? Would Tupac have won in a fight against Will Smith? Sound off in the comments!
