“Macho Man” Randy Savage inspired a generation of pro wrestlers and fans alike. He also apparently hit home with one boxer, and that extra Macho Man charm might have helped propel him to victory.

Blair Cobbs was undefeated when he stepped into the ring against Brad Solomon on Saturday night. He also had some epic entrance attire to go with it. Fans all over the world immediately pegged the 15-0-1 boxer for his epic Randy Savage cosplay.

The boxer is known for his flamboyance and knack for making big claims. The “Flair” as described himself as the most exciting thing in boxing in the past. That is debatable, especially with the Paul Brothers roaming the rings.

Cobbs pulled off his big win in 5 rounds, topping Solomon and keeping that 0 secure in his losing column. That was the fourth loss in a row for Solomon from undefeated fighters. We’re giving a lot of credit to Cobbs’ entrance attire of choice.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
