Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results.

Anderson Silva is regarded as one of the all-time greats in the world of MMA who competed against several top names in the MMA world when he used to be active. Silva was released from the UFC last year in November after he lost to Uriah Hall in his final match.

He is set to face off against Julio César Chávez Jr., son of the legendary boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. on June 19. Now it seems Julio César Chávez Jr has already thought of who his next opponent could be after Anderson Silva.

While speaking to Heavy, Julio César Chávez Jr. talked about potential opponents after his fight with Anderson Silva. Chávez Jr. revealed that he is down to face Conor McGregor in a boxing match.

“Conor McGregor fight in boxing, I like it because he’s [a celebrity]. He makes a lot of pay-per-view. I’m okay with anybody.”

Before Conor McGregor faces Julio César Chávez Jr. in a boxing match, he has to contend with his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 11th in their third fight together. We will have to see if McGregor will win the fight or not.
