R Kelly is in the slammer for crimes that were well documented in Surviving R Kelly. We don’t need to rehash what he did, because there is a new development in the Kelly saga.

The notorious home in Atlanta, the estate where R Kelly allegedly held women against their will, has been sold to a new owner. That Atlanta landmark went for $1.785 million.

The property was used to allegedly keep women as part of R Kelly’s alleged sex cult. The docuseries Surviving R Kelly told all about those terrible details. Some of the women were forced to call Kelly, “Daddy,” and they had to get permission for bathroom and meal breaks. It sounded like a horrific situation where R Kelly held far too much control.

The new owner of this home has a lot of property to take in. The 11,455 square foot home has 7 bedrooms and 2 kitchens. The 12-foot ceilings, 4-car garage, and 7 fireplaces are also a nice touch. There is also a tennis court, basketball court, spa, and a swimming pool.

Kelly is in custody in Chicago awaiting a federal trial. He has denied the allegations against him. He also doesn’t have that sick Atlanta pad anymore. There is no word on who purchased his home.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
