The NBA announced three All-Star teams and Shaq was immediately not happy about the first team’s choices.

Luka Doncic was picked as guard on the first team over Portland star Damian Lillard. Shaq called this out since Lillard led the second team, but Doncic received 55 votes for first-place over Lillard’s 38 votes.

Doncic and Lillard were both on average teams, but they carried their respective teams all season for a better than average performance overall. Doncic averaged 27.7 points per game with Lilliard bringing in 28.8 points. They were also evenly matched with assists, but Doncic pulled down twice as many rebounds on average at 8 per game.

“Are you basing this off this year? So you’re telling me that Luka had a better year than Damian Lillard? I don’t think so,” Shaq said during NBA on TNT Tuesday night when he was asked about the pick. Shaquille O’Neal obviously wasn’t a fan of this choice.

You can check out the video below that shows Shaq telling it as he sees it. The veteran has an opinion that a lot of people listen to. It looks like that doesn’t apply to All-Star Voting.
