Celebrity boxing is all the rage right now and former UFC Lightweight Champion Chuck Liddell has a fight in mind. The UFC Hall of Famer wants to take on an NBA Hall of Famer, and one of the biggest ever.

Liddell is down to have a fight with Shaq. While talking to Unlocking The Cage with Jimmy Smith Liddell was very open to the idea of taking on Shaquille O’Neal.

Liddell, who retired from combat sports in 2018, would certainly be open to take a payday to box with Shaq. He said that the fight would be a fun one to take.

“Yeah, Shaq would be a fun one, change it up and try to reach Shaq.”

“You gotta remember, one of my sparring partners for a long time was 6’10″,” Liddell continued. “So it’s not big, but I trained with Gan McGee for forever, and my brother is 6’4, 6’5, 300lb. But standing next to Shaq, Shaq’s a big man… I’m always around big guys, but Shaq’s one of those few guys you go up to and go ‘Damn, Shaq’s big.’”

Chuck Liddell then doubled down and said that fighting Shaq would be a “fun one,” again. We’ll have to see if Shaq takes Liddell up on this offer to step in the ring. Odds are Shaq is going to stay where he is, but you can never count him out. He did surprise a lot of fans by his performance in AEW.

Liddell would also be down to fight Charles Barkley. He has also thrown shots at Jake Paul in the past. Obviously, Chuck Liddell is still looking for a fight.
