Logan Paul just had a battle with went the distance with Floyd “Money” Mayweather. That 8 round exhibition contest saw no winner, but Paul gained a ton of respect, further establishing himself as a boxer along the way. Some say he was KO’ed by Mayweather early on, but Logan Paul refuted that. Now Soulja Boy would like to lay claim on helping make Logan Paul the tough man we all know him as today.

In 2015, Soulja Boy invited Logan Paul in for a music video shoot. Then he proceeded to shoot him in the head, but it was all part of the plan. Logan Paul enjoyed himself as he posted a photo with Soulja Boy saying, “Dope shoot with @souljaboy today.”

The March 23rd, 2015 photo tweet drew even more attention recently when Soulja Boy dug it up and fired off a response, bringing new life to the post.

Soulja Boy quote retweeted that over six-year-old photo and said, “The day I punched him down.” He then included a glove and an LOL emoji before writing, “I invented Logan Paul.”

Plenty of people have had some fun with this tweet. As of this writing it seems Logan Paul let that tweet slide off his notifications. His Twitter account is always blowing up, so it’s probably difficult to keep track of all the celebrities tweeting at him.

This is not the first time that Soulja Boy sent a bold message in recent memory. He also expressed jealousy over Kanye West hanging out with Elon Musk. Soulja Boy wants to get in on the Tesla inventor’s group chats, too.

Logan Paul’s next fight is not yet determined, but he could always ask Soulja Boy if he wants to scrap again in the desert.

What’s your take on Soulja Boy’s funny little tweet? Sound off in the comments!

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
