Elon Musk commands a lot of attention, but it seems that he is being targeted by group of people that nobody wants to tangle with. It looks like a notorious group of hackers is zeroing in on the Tesla inventor.

Anonymous, a coalition of self-described freedom fighters is focusing on Elon Musk. They use the Guy Fawkes mask as their logo. You might know them by their ominous mantra: “We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.”

The hacker group claims that Elon Musk has too much power over the cryptocurrency markets. They also do not appreciate the way that he wields that power with sarcastic tweets and a cavalier attitude.

Bitcoin prices took a serious dive in recent memory. Most other cryptocurrency markets fell with it. Strangely enough, some point toward Musk’s SNL hosting gig as the spark of that downfall. Others blame China’s crackdown of crypto mining.

Anonymous took even more shots at Musk as they claim he suffers from a savoir complex, noting that he once called himself the “Emperor Of Mars.” They claim that he is hurting the working class by his constant trolling on Twitter.

It’s a very interesting situation and Anonymous could have a lot of weight to their argument. Elon Musk can send a market into a tizzy with one tweet, that has been proven. He also seems to really enjoy being Elon Musk. We’ll have to see if he responds to this message.

Should Elon Musk take this message from Anonymous seriously? Sound off in the comments!

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
