UFC President Dana White is notorious when it comes to cancelling big money matches for no reason. This is exactly what he did when White prevented UFC legend Georges St-Pierre from fighting boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya at Triller Club. This is due to the fact that St-Pierre is under contract with the UFC.

Oscar De La Hoya was certainly furious at the announcement and so were many other people. This included the likes of UFC legend Anderson Silva, who blasted Dana White for cancelling the huge match.

It came to such a point that Oscar De La Hoya even challenged UFC president Dana White to a fight. Now it seems the UFC President has finally responded to Oscar De La Hoya’s challenge.

While speaking on the Mike Swick podcast, Dana White was asked about Oscar De La Hoya challenging him to a boxing match. Dana White dismissed La Hoya’s challenge and mocked him for his history of drug usage.

“He’s all jacked up on the yayo…I don’t know anybody who even takes that guy seriously anymore.”

While it was initially revealed that de La Hoya was going to make his return on July 3 to compete on Triller, reports stated that his return has been postponed. We will have to see who de La Hoya will end up fighting now that Dana White has made it clear he has no interest in fighting him.
