Logan Paul might not be on Floyd “Money” Mayweather, but he was able to get that June 6th fight booked thanks to his massive social media following. Tickets to that fight are also pretty impossible to attain, even for celebrities. Logan Paul might be fighting one of the greatest, but he’s still talking a lot.

In a recent video from Showtime Sports, Brian Campbell asked Logan Paul if he can learn anything from Mayweather’s previous fights, studying tape to help him gain an edge.

Logan has seen the tape, especially his fight against McGregor; that one has received a lot of viewing. All he knows is that it’s impossible to know what to expect. When it comes to Conor McGregor, he was not impressed at all.

“Yeah, I mean, you can watch a lot of Mayweather tape. You can watch him fight McGregor over and over and over again. And watch him fight Tenshin. Although, it’s Floyd Mayweather. His arsenal is expensive, almost probably unlimited even. So watch as much tape as you’d like, but I don’t know how much you’re truly going to be able to take away.”

“But I will say I am not impressed by Conor McGregor’s performance. I do truly believe that if you’d put Conor McGregor in here right now, in a sparring session, I’d beat him…. McGregor is an MMA fighter, he is okay, he gets gassed easy. Just got his ass kicked by Dustin Poirier….. Long, strong, powerful, hungry, it’s going to be tough night for Floyd June 6th.”

We’ll have to see if Logan Paul can get that big money fight with Conor McGregor. If anyone can convince Dana White to loosen his reins a bit on letting fighters work outside of the UFC, it’s Notorious. He did it before to fight Mayweather.

Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather should be a very interesting experience. Jake Paul is also allowed in the building after being previously banned for that whole GOTCHA HAT stunt. Stay tuned for more developments from Thirsty as we get closer to June 6th.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
