Guys like Jonah Hill can gain and lose lots of pounds for a role. Mark Wahlberg isn’t about to risk destroying his ripped figure, so he strapped on a fat suit.

Mark elected to sit in a makeup chair and have double chins plastered on him rather than eat a few extra carbs. We can’t blame him, because he put a lot of work into that physique. He is also still going hard in the acting world.

Wahlberg is 49 years old and still looks great. That fat suit and prosthetic makeup really did a number on his normally chiseled appearance. The part is for a movie with Mel Gibson about a real-life priest named Father Long.

The film, Rosalind Ross written and directed “Stu,” is currently filming. It also stars Jacki Weaver, Mathew Trent Hunnicutt, Teresa Ruiz, and Niko Nicotera. No specific plot has been revealed at this time.

The Daddy’s Home star wore a blue sweater over an olive green polo while on set. He was also rocking a shaved head. That was quite a departure from his normal look, but he’s apparently going for an authentic look. We’re not sure what scene Mark was shooting, but the transformation was pretty shocking.
