Kurt Angle got some acting experience in with WWE and he has played a few bit parts every now and then. He is currently shooting a new film funded by a Bitcoin mogul.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), Angle is currently shooting a new romantic comedy called “Ask Me To Dance.” This movie is currently shooting in Rochester, New York and funded by Bitcoin mogul Charlie Shrem.

Angle’s part was not revealed in the report, but he has some notable co-stars. Brana Evigan of Step Up, Mario Cantone of Sex and the City and Joyce DeWitt from Three’s Company are all in the movie with him. No, it wasn’t noted whether Angle is actually dancing in “Ask Me To Dance.” We can only hope that is the case.

Kurt Angle was recently spotted with Ronda Rousey, and they teased a super secret project. They also snapped a photo while standing in front of a milk truck. We have no idea whether that is connected to this romantic comedy or not.

No release date was revealed for this upcoming film. It sounds like an interesting project that will get some attention when it finally drops.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
