Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have a happy marriage, but they also have to be mindful that there are children in the house. This especially applies to when things get busy in the bedroom.

Alba and Warren recently spoke to People about their marriage and that included a very revealing story. The couple’s 9-year-old daughter, Haven, accidentally walked in on them while they were getting hot and heavy. Both Alba and Warren had very different reactions to getting caught.

Warren said it was “the worst,” but then the experience made the couple laugh for about five minutes. They were still afraid that they had just “ruined” their daughter.

“It was the worst. We like spent five minutes in our bedroom laughing. And being like, ‘I can’t believe we just ruined our daughter, we just ruined her.’ “

Warren said that they were laughing, but Alba had to admit that she “started crying.” Then she immediately called her sister-in-law for some advice after such a possibly traumatic event.

“I called Koa [Warren’s sister]. She’s so good at helping us through challenges, I feel like she just has such a kind, gentle soul.”

Warren then admitted that they decided to just cop to the consensual sex between married people. “We just have to own this one. We can’t pretend it didn’t happen,” he disclosed.

“I think by the time we called Koa, Haven had already texted he. She went right in and told everyone,” Alba interjected.

Then they went downstairs and had a frank conversation with their daughter about entering their martial bedroom without knocking. At least a knock would have given her parents the heads up that they needed to stop their session in a hurry.

“Now she knocks, it was like she learned her lesson,” Warren recounted. It was quite a lesson to learn.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
