J. Cole Causes Controversy With Bill Cosby Line In Freestyle Rap

J. Cole caused quite a stir with a recent line in a freestyle rap. Then again, he probably should have seen this one coming after mentioning Bill Cosby in such a way.

The rapper jumped on Power 107’s LA Leakers radio show and dropped a freestyle rap on everyone. That rap included a line about the now-imprisoned Bill Cosby that caused a real stir.

The line made reference to the dozens of allegations that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted women in the past. Cosby is currently incarcerated after he was found guilty for those crimes. Still, it gave J. Cole fodder for his freestyle.

“Or who they debatin’ is better/Let’s face it, he one of the greatest/No Bill Cosby shit, but if niggas is sleepin’, then fuck her/Most niggas don’t understand me/I don’t do the GRAMMYs, I be in my jammies on sofa/Most niggas don’t understand me.”

Plenty of people jumped on that line about Bill Cosby. He is currently serving three to ten years behind bars for aggravated indecent assault. This came after the legendary comedian’s name was involved in many accusations. Obviously, that wasn’t enough to cause J. Cole to look the other way.
