Elon Musk had a good weekend in New York City as he hosted SNL. His girlfriend Grimes had a great time, too, but then she had a bit of a scary situation.

Grimes updated fans with an Instagram post which included a photo of herself and Miley Cyrus. Musk’s girlfriend talked about how great of a time she had hanging out with Cyrus in a May 11th post, and she also disclosed why it took her a day or so to drop that photo.

She apparently suffered from a panic attack that caused her to be hospitalized. The experience was also “quite scary,” but she seems to be doing well with some additional therapy.

Forgot to post these cuz I somehow caused myself to have a panic attack and went to the hospital yesterday which tbh was quite scary and I suppose it’s a good time to start therapy 😑😑😑. But nonetheless – wowwwww @mileycyrus is good live and so chill! So grateful to the SNL team for being so kind and letting me sneak in as princess peach snd so proud of my beautiful E (which I know will upset the grimes fans so I apologize in advance) but he killed it

Grimes was even dressed up like Princess Peach to take part in the SNL Mario Bros segment, the same one where Elon Musk dressed as Wario. That Wario look became an instant meme.

Elon Musk and Grimes seem like an unlikely couple, but they have been going strong since 2018. We’re uncertain what triggered Grimes’ panic attack, but we’re very glad that she seems to be doing much better now.
