Billie Eilish posed for British Vogue and sparked a huge controversy within her fan base. Once known for her baggy clothes, Billie traded them out for sultry attire and lingerie. She also showed off her never-before-seen tattoo. That was quite a shock as well.

While speaking to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Billie Eilish addressed the backlash to those Vogue photos. She said that the level of attention she received from those uncharacteristic photos makes her never want to post anything again.

“I do get excited [by that level of attention]. I think it more just makes me never want to post again… I feel like I wanted to post more when less people cared, and now that more people care, I don’t know. It’s scary to me.”

Billie Eilish certainly stepped out of her comfort zone with that Vogue interview. She also knew at the time that it would generate a bunch of attention as she stepped away from her usual demeanor. ‘If you’re about body positivity, why would you wear a corset?” she asked British Vogue in that now-famous interview.

We have to give Eilish credit for standing up to those people who think that she’s not allowed to grow as an artist and individual. Keep on posting, Billie.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
