Grey’s Anatomy Signs On For 18th Season

Grey’s Anatomy had buzz that it could be ending, but they will stick around for at least one more season.

TVLine reports that since Ellen Pompeo has renewed her contract to reprise her character, Meredith Grey, on the hit ABC show. Now they will continue on into season 18 of the wildly popular hospital dramedy.

The season finale of Grey’s Anatomy is slated to air on June 3rd. Now fans know whatever the ending brings, they will see that hospital again and the story will continue.

The show first aired in 2005 and has a huge following. It is an institution of ABC at this point. Needless to say, there are a lot of very happy fans out there breathing a sigh of relief.

The Grey’s Anatomy spinoff series, Station 19, was also renewed for a 5th season on ABC. Both will continue to be led by showrunner, Krista Vernoff.
