After a brawl between Jake Paul & Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather took place and filled their press conference with chaos. Since Jake Paul took his cap to provoke the former boxing champ and tried to make a run for it, fans saw it as highly disrespectful of Paul to act in such a manner.

Mayweather decided that it was better to look at this situation rationally. He carried his calm and had an interview with Barstool Sports. In the The Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, the boxing legend let the world know that even though he may look calm, he’s still patiently looking forward to completely dominate the bout.

In the preview of the upcoming trailer, Mayweather states that the incident at the press conference was simply a “little problem” he had. It only goes to show that Mayweather is using his years of wisdom and knows that Jake Paul is using standard pre-boxing tactics to get a rise out of him. But Mayweather clearly knows better. He states:

Today, I had a small problem. A little problem. Really no big problem. Um, kid wanted to test the waters and tried me out.

Pressley then joked  “He stole your hat. No cap.” which made Mayweather crack. He said that “That’s a good one. Good metaphor. I think I still got the cap. So, where the cap at?” Mayweather later states that the cap is not important, but everyone must act to keep their “cap.

It’s not an important cap but it is what it is. He did what he did and I did what I did.

The interview comes before the exhibition bout that is about to take place between famed fighter and internet celebrity Jake Paul and one of the greatest boxers in the world, Floyd Mayweather. Their fight will be taking place on June 6th. Stay tuned for more.
