CEO of Tesla Motors and business tycoon Elon Musk made headlines for a very interesting reason, as it was announced last month that he will be making his debut on the May 8 episode of Saturday Night Live as a host. Elon Musk had already reacted to this announcement.

The announcement was met with a lot of backlash from fans and even SNL members weren’t too happy about his appearance. Now it seems Elon Musk has directly addressed the recent backlash.

According to a report by Page Six, they were told by Elon Musk that the rumors regarding the ‘SNL’ cast members being unhappy about his appearance is “much ado about nothing,” and that everyone is working well with him and are very friendly.

It was also reported that cast members who are upset with a particular host can not appear in sketches with them.

“Speaking historically, if a cast member has been that unhappy, they don’t have to do it. [‘SNL’ boss Lorne Michaels] won’t ever make them do anything they don’t want to do.”

Elon Musk had also recently asked fans for ideas regarding skits for his upcoming ‘SNL appearance.’ The upcoming ‘SNL’ episode will also feature musical guest Miley Cyrus, who will make her sixth appearance on the show. We will have to see how Elon Musk will perform as a host, even though many people aren’t all that excited for it.
