Britney Spears is currently trending right now, and it’s not because of her new music. The new BBC Documentary titled “The Battle For Britney” goes deep into exploring the controversies and issues that the popstar had.

The documentary provides insight into many instances from her life, including the infamous mental breakdown Britney suffered in 2007, and her father’s subsequent move to form a conservatorship around her estate.

Sam Asghari, Britney’s boyfriend, has expressed his pride over the popstar’s decision for “deciding that she wants to talk about her conservatorship in court.” This comes from a source close to Britney’s boyfriend who reported it to HollywoodLife.

It’s been two years since Britney last decided to speak out against her father’s and the Bessemer Trust Co. conservatorship of her estate. The source told Hollywood Life that:

He is impressed that she is taking the initiative to control her life the way she wants it to be run and he is supporting her in any way she needs. [Sam] is extremely proud of her and only hopes and assumes things will work out exactly how they should. Sam is so happy that Britney will be getting her day to speak in court. He is a huge cheerleader and support system to her. There’s no doubt he gives her a lot of strength because that is just the kind of guy Sam is,” the second source continues. “He is very motivating and really helps get people into a positive and empowered mindset. But he always says that Britney is a force of her own. He’s looking forward to her being able to finally speak her truth.

Sam has a history of supporting his girlfriend through the thick and thin. Now that the documentary is about to come out on May 11th, Britney’s live is about to completely change and she needs him more than ever. Her day in court will be on June 23 under the Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny. Stay tuned for more.
