Kevin Durant is undoubtedly one of the most popular basketball players in the world right now. The Brooklyn Nets star had previously won two championships with the Golden State Warriors and there is no doubt he will win more in the future.

However, Durant made it clear that he doesn’t play basketball for championships. The Brooklyn Nets recently won for the fourth consecutive time on Thursday as they defeated the Indiana Pacers 130-113. Durant was largely credited for the huge win.

Durant has had a difficult time to consistently play on the court this year but had one of his best performances of the season against Indiana. Durant finished with 42 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 10 assists in the match.

Eddie Gonzalez, who is the co-host of Durant’s podcast The ETCs took to Twitter and took a jibe at Durant for not being able to register a triple-double in the victory. He added that LeBron James was able to accomplish that particular feat.

“Bron woulda got the 7 rebounds scrub,”

Durant saw the tweet and replied to it, by giving a valid excuse for not achieving the feat.

I had to let my young bull 20/20 them peoples.

Kevin Durant will continue to play at the best of his ability and no one can change his efforts into improving his craft. We will have to see if Durant will carry on his impressive performance in future games.
