Michael B Jordan would make one great Superman, and that rumor is churning hard in the mill right now. He has heard that as well and it seems like something he’s not opposed to.

During an appearance on Jake’s Takes, Jordan played coy when he was asked about taking on the Superman cape. He praised the filmmakers in charge of the project and said that he’s flattered to receive so many kudos from fans who can picture him in the role. In the end, it will be interesting to see the new Superman no matter who they cast.

You hear the whispers and the rumors and stuff like that and it’s just a compliment. You know, I appreciate people that think about me in that type of way for these roles. I don’t really have anything more to give on that other than it’s just flattering and I appreciate it. But, you know, whoever they get or if it goes that way, I think it’ll be an interesting thing to see.

Michael B Jordan didn’t outright say that he wants the part. He could have, but then if it doesn’t happen things might come back to bite him. All in all, he handled that potentially tricky question like a true pro. Some might even say he took it like a true superhero.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
