Many fans would agree that UFC fighter Khamzat Chimaev has been very unlucky for the past few months as he contracted COVID-19 and also suffered its lingering effects. Due to the virus, he had to cancel several of his upcoming matches and in frustration, the fighter announced his retirement from UFC.

UFC President Dana White shot down his announcement as White stated that he only got emotional from the consequences of his COVID-19 infection. Since then, the Russian fighter made several teases regarding his return to the UFC. Chimaev had previously teased a return to UFC and now it seems fans have an idea who his opponent could be.

Jorge Masvidal was knocked out by Kamaru Usman at UFC 261 in the second round, making him a laughing stock in the UFC world for many. Chimaev took to Twitter and called out Masivdal for a potential fight while mocking him for getting knocked out.

Tell gamebred when he wake up from Saturday night I will fight him in August I’m not sure if he still sleeping
