Zac Efron Relieved About Breakup As Girlfriend Would Be Distraction

Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Valladares were together for ten months, but then they split. There is apparently a lot to that story.

According to a source for Us Weekly, “Zac is about to start a busy year of filming and wanted to make a clean break now.” This would have included him taking two months to fly to Canada for the Firestarter movie. Vanessa wouldn’t have been able to go.

Zac allegedly wasn’t down to pay for a house for two months so Vanessa could stay there while he worked. Secretly, Efron is said to be relieved that things turned out the way they did.

He is “secretly relieved about this turn of events as he feels she would be a distraction to him during the filming of the intense drama.” The source also added that Zac “was getting in too deep and spending too much time” with Vanessa and that “he felt it was best to end this now.”

Zac Efron wanted out and that’s what happened. He obviously had his reasons. Now the High School Musical star is a single man again.
