Tom Cruise is undoubtedly one of the most popular and iconic actors in the history of Hollywood. He has made a name for himself starring in the hit franchise Mission: Impossible, where Cruise portrays the role of Ethan Hunt. Cruise is also known to perform a lot of his own stunts while shooting the films, even at the risk of his own life.

It seems Cruise ended up becoming a real life Ethan Hunt recently. According to a report by Daily Mail, Cruise saved the life of a cameraman as Cruise stopped him from sliding down the carriage of a moving steam train Thursday while filming a scene at the North Yorkshire Moors railway.

As revealed by photos released from the set, Cruise could be seen crouching down to help the cameraman, who was wearing a harness during the filming in order to help him find his balance on a steel ledge.

This is what stopped him from falling any further down the train or dropping his equipment. Co-star Hayley Atwell and other crew members looked on as Cruise and other crew members rushed to aid the cameraman.
