Rob Gronkowski is a four-time Super Bowl champion and is regarded by many as one of the best football players in the modern era. Now it seems he has landed himself in the record books.

Gronkowski caught a 625-foot pass from a helicopter and now holds a Guinness World Record for the feat.

The 31-year-old took to social media and shared a video of first-year University of Arizona head football coach Jedd Fisch hyping up the team before his attempt at the record breaking catch.

What we’re gonna do is we’re gonna make it a Guinness Book of World Record catch,” Coach Fisch told the team. “We’re gonna have the highest altitude catch that’s ever been done in the world. 600 feet in the air, we’re gonna have a helicopter drop a ball straight down, and we’re gonna set a Guinness Book of World Record, right here in front of all of you guys.”

It was no easy feat for the NFL star as the sun was likely that biggest hurdle for him and it ultimately took three attempts for Gronkowski to make the huge catch. After that he was crowded by the excited Arizona players, who were elated at his feat.

Gronkowski will continue to add to his legacy for being one of the best NFL players in the history of the sport and that isn’t changing anytime soon.
