LeBron James & Tom Brady Rookie Cards Sell For Nearly $3.5 MILLION Combined

Some people really got into collectibles during the pandemic. The collectable sporting card market really took off in a big way. That has caused some values to absolutely skyrocket.

LeBron James and Tom Brady are two of the best to ever play their respective sports. Some fans would pay a ton to capture a part of that history, and it shows.

James and Brady’s trading cards just sold for a combined $3.44 million at auction. The James card, a ’03-’04 Upper Deck “Exquisite Collection” Rookie Patch Autograph card, saw only 99 cards made. It sold for $1.72 million.

The Brady card was a 2000 Playoff Contenders #144 Signed Championship Ticket Rookie Card. The James card was graded a 9 and the Brady card received an 8.5 by Beckett. Both cards sold for $1.72 million.

The Goldin Auctions website hosted this high-dollar auction. The crazy part is that prices on these collectible cards are expected to rise.
