LeBron James is considered this generations GOATs in the NBA. While he’s known for being a master basketball player & an all-rounder, he’s also known for doing a fair amount of activism and making political statements.

Since the basketball player’s comments have landed him in trouble before, but now the memes and mockery against the player have taken a whole new shape. After James made a statement on Twitter after the shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, Ohio by a white cop, he’s become subject to a number of memes.

After a video surfaced on social media where Bryant was seen trying to stab another black girl with a knife, many people came against James on social media. The latest is a TikTok from a cop who in the video responds to a dispatch call after seeing two black men engaging in combat.

In the video the officer asks LeBron “”So, you don’t care if a Black person kills another Black person—but you do care if a white cop kills a black person, even if he’s doing it to save the life of another black person? I mean, that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but then again, you’re really good at basketball so I guess I’ll take your word for it.

The video has been watched on the platform for more than 2.4 million times and it’s only gaining traction. While James handles backlash from the since-deleted tweet, let’s see what comes next in the series of controversies regarding the champ’s comments, which even invoked comments from former POTUS Donald J. Trump.
