Every Batista Film In The Pipeline

Batista carved out quite a career for himself in Hollywood. The former WWE Superstar has several projects in the works and each one of them have the potential to be big hits.

Army Of The Dead: Lost Vegas is slated to be a prequel to Army of the Dead. We’re not sure when this project will be released, but Bautista and fellow actors will voice this action-horror anime series. Joe Manganiello, Christian Slater, and Vanessa Hudgens are also involved in the project.

Dune is coming on October 1st, 2021. It took a lot longer to produce this film than expected with COVID-19. The reboot of the classic sci-fi novel will star Big Dave Bautista as Glossu “Beast Rabban, one of the film’s most beastly bad guys.

Groove Tails is set to be a unique experience for Batista. The animated movie will tell the story of a mouse named Biggz, played by Jamie Foxx. Batista will voice multiple roles throughout the movie. A release date hasn’t been announced, but they are still filming.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 the long-awaited third installment in the Marvel franchise is coming. James Gunn is back and they expect to have this film out in 2023. There are no plot details yet, but the fact it’s happening is exciting enough.

Thor: Love And Thunder is also on the way. When fans last saw Thor, he was palling around with the Guardians of the Galaxy crew. That could make for some very interesting storytelling as they explore the universe after Endgame. They are aiming at a May 6, 2022 release date for this one.

Universe’s Most Wanted has no release date yet, but it sounds like an interesting project. This will be a space-comedy where Bautista plays an intergalactic peacekeeper who is supposed to keep criminals from taking over the planet. They are going to start filming in Melbourne, Australia in late July.

In The Lost Lands will be based on R. R. Martin’s novel of the same name. Fans have been waiting on this one for a while as Batista is set to star alongside Milla Jovovich. This film is in pre-production and will take some time to complete.

Traphouse will be written by Fast & Furious creator Gary Scott Thompson and Batista is set to star and produce. The movie will follow DEA agents who have to stop their own teenage children from robbing a cartel. This film has been in the works for years now and is still in development.
