Christina Ricci Wanted For Big Role In Addams Family Netflix Series

Nostalgia is still making a ton of cash and Netflix has a new series in line that will make a lot of Addams Family fans happy.

According to Illuminerdi, there is interest from Tim Burton, the show’s director, in having Christina Ricci come on as Morticia. The new Wednesday Addams show will debut on Netflix, and it is in development.

There is also a rumor that Jenna Ortega could be in line for the role of series lead Wednesday Addams. Bailee Madison was also reported to be up for that role. The series casting is still an ongoing process.

This new series will mark Tim Burton’s television directorial debut as well. It’s unclear how far along casting talks are. Ricci’s potential casting as Morticia Addams has been a fan casting decision for years. We’ll have to see if they can make it happen for real.
