Hospital Botches Baby’s Birth Certificate & Names Them KORN

Korn has a lot of diehard fans, but we’re not sure how many would name their child after the popular metal band. That is what happened with one recent mother, but it wasn’t her call.

Twitter lit up with “KORN” as a trending topic today. Over 14,000 users were talking about the Jonathan Davis fronted group, but it wasn’t for anything that the band did. It had everything to do with a hospital botch that was quite epic.

One new mother, @pkkaos whose account is private, tweeted out in horror when she discovered that the hospital messed up her baby’s birth certificate and accidentally named her child Korn.

The hospital messed up my baby’s name and we just got the birth certificate and its Korn MY BABY’S NAME is LEGALLY KORN.

We’re not sure what this mother was originally going for, but Korn was not it. Now tons of fans are making some pretty great jokes as this instantly meme-worthy tweet has gone viral.
