The premiere of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier received good critical and fan reviews, and it seems like Marvel has acknowledged the need for a new Captain America movie as well.

Malcolm Spellman, who has been the head-writer and creator of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, has been recruited by Marvel Studios to build up the story of Captain America 4. While it’s uncertain where the story will go, the series’ conclusion will heavily affect it.

Dalan Musson, a staff writer for the show, will take the responsibility of co-writing the film’s script. There has been no casting confirmations or rumors, and even though Chris Evans has lead the series with the role of Captain America, even his inclusion in the movie seems shaky.

One of the possible trajectories for Captain America is probably Sam Wilson taking the shield. The series features Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (The Winter Soldier) & Anthony Mackie as The Falcon. As the series is currently airing, a lot of the movie will depend upon the critical response the whole series gets. Stay tuned for more.
