Jake Paul and Ben Askren fought each other each other in a boxing match at Triller Fight Club on April 17th and it was certainly an eventful night to say the least.
In a total shocker, Jake Paul obliterated the former UFC star Ben Askren in the first round, resulting to a very quick win for Paul. Paul’s huge win remains a huge topic of discussion online and Jake Paul is soaking it all up.
While recently speaking to ESPN, Ben Askren still believes Paul is a “s*** person” and made many negative remarks regarding Paul and his team, referring to them as a “gross cheerleading” squad.
Jake Paul certainly didn’t take too kindly to what Ben Askren had to say as he took to Twitter and was legitimately irate and hated the fact that Askren was still talking ‘s***’ about him.
“I doubled Ben Askrens Instagram following within 3 months. Made him the biggest pay day of his life KO’d him in 1 minute And this douchebag still talking s***. Isn’t life funny?”
Paul then claimed that he planned on facing Ben Askren in a legitimate wrestling match after the conclusion of their boxing match. Paul then added that he decided to call off the match as Askren is a loser, which is undoubtedly a reaction to Askren’s recent remarks.
“What I love about power is having the ability to put people on and choosing not to. Ben and I were supposed to have a wrestling PPV match after their fight which would have easily generated millions of dollars. I’m choosing not to do it anymore because he’s a f**king loser.”
Jake Paul is currently undefeated with 3-0 in his boxing career and we will have to see who his next opponent will be. As for Ben Askren, the former UFC star made it clear that he has no intention of fighting ever again and will focus his energy on being a coach. We certainly wonder how a legitimate wrestling match between Jake Paul and Ben Askren would have turned out to be.
