Jake Paul Explains Why He Wants Conor McGregor To Beat Dustin Poirier

The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier remains one of the most highly discussed topics in the MMA world. After a lot of speculation about whether the third fight between them would take place or not, Dana White officially confirmed the two will fight on July 10th at UFC 264.

While speaking during a press conference, YouTube personality Jake Paul talked about the upcoming fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. Paul revealed that he is rooting for McGregor and explained why Paul wants The Notorious one to beat Poirier.

“He’s an A-list celebrity. And there is very few fighters who are A-list celebrities. So, you know, we’ll see what happens. I hope he wins against Dustin, I guess, so that the fight becomes more exciting.” 

Jake Paul had also given a rough time frame for him to face off against Conor McGregor in a boxing match. Before that, Jake Paul has to contend with Ben Askren, as the two are set to face off tomorrow at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. We will have to see who ends up winning the match.
