Kobe Bryant has had one of the most celebrated basketball careers of all times. After 5 title wins and having broken extraordinary amounts of records, he’s finally going to be inducted into the 2020 Naismith Hall of Fame.

While the legendary player is receiving the honor posthumously, his family is sure to be tremendously honored by the induction. He is survived by his wife Vanessa Bryant & daughter Natalia Bryant.

Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed the news on Twitter. Michael Jordan will be the one to walk Bryant through the honorary title. While Michael Jordan is a huge fan of Kobe Bryant and gave a tear-jerking speech at his funeral, there can be none other than him to bestow this honor upon the late basketball legend.

Kobe is going to be inducted alongside some of the best players of his era, such as Kevin Garnett & Tim Duncan. Since these guys played together, it only makes sense that Kobe heads into the Hall Of Fame with them. We’ll all be cheering Kobe Bryant on the 15th of May, 2021.
