Scream 5 Going Above & Beyond To Avoid Spoilers

A 5th installment of the Scream franchise is on the way, but even people working on the film have no idea what’s about to happen.

In an attempt to squash spoilers, there are now multiple versions of the Scream 5 script floating around according to Bloody Disgusting. Scream 5, officially titled “Scream,” will be released in January 2022.

The extra versions of the film were written as a screenplay, but they will also be filmed as part of the movie to avoid the possibility of the plot leaking. It seems like a lot of effort, but they really don’t want the end of this new slasher flick to see the light of day until it’s ready.

The Scream franchise holds a special place in the hearts of many fans. Odds are legit spoilers would really upset a lot of people. The filmmakers are doing what they can to make sure that nobody knows what actually makes it in the final film.

Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox are all returning to reprise their former Scream roles. They will be joined by Jack Quaid,  Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and Dylan Minnette among others.
