Many consider LeBron James the best basketball player on earth. The 36 year old veteran is still able to ball with the best of them and he’s very much in the business of putting up numbers. Nobody is going to dispute those facts.

Kevin Durant might be the second-best payer in the game, but he was injured during the 2018-2019 season and had to sit out for many games. LeBron went on to win another ring that year to cement his status as Best In The World.

Durant still thinks he’s the best. He actually took to Twitter and called out Shannon Sharpe after the former NFL player turned Fox Sports analyst said that Durant said he is the “GOAT” over LeBron James.

Kevin Durant thinks highly of himself, but he didn’t say that. So, he sent out a scathing tweet to call Sharpe out for lying.

Y’all drunk uncle out here lying again. When did I say this @ShannonSharpe ???????????????????????????

Durant knows better than to come out and say that he’s better than LeBron. Those Twitter notifications would explode with anger and furious vengeance from LA Lakers fans worldwide the moment those words came out of his mouth. That is why he had to shut this misquoting incident down quickly.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
