Police say that the hit on Kodak Black was a targeted job with the intention of nailing the Trump-pardoned rapper.

Authorities have told TMZ that, after seeing the evidence, it is apparent the hit on Kodak Black was intentional. They knew who was coming out of that McDonald’s and they wanted rid of him.

One member from Kodak Black’s crew was struck with a bullet in the leg. He had to undergo hours under the knife via emergency surgery when he was hit in the femoral artery. We have no update on his condition.

This all took place on early Monday morning in Tallahassee, Florida. Kodak Black and his entourage hit some beachside clubs before departing around 3:00 AM. They pulled into a McDonald’s where Black’s crew blocked off the entrance so he could go in and get some food. When he came back out, another car pulled in and started firing.

Police say that this was not armed robbery, but an apparent hit on Kodak Black. They also made it clear that they are aware of online threats on Kodak Black’s life. Now they are looking into those online threats.

We’re told cops are specifically reviewing threatening comments apparently made by music producer Southside during an Instagram Live Sunday, seemingly in response to Kodak’s IG Live mention of Southside’s girlfriend, City Girls rapper Yung Miami.

No suspects have been named in this shooting and it is still an open investigation. Kodak Black got away without sustaining any injury. We will continue to keep an eye on this ongoing story here at Thirsty.
