Cardi B represents her fans proudly and she’s not about to get offended when people label her as a woman breaking new ground. That is exactly what she’s doing.

While speaking to XXL, Cardi B said that she doesn’t care about people trying to put her in a gender category because she’s embracing all things woman.

“I mean, at the end of the day, I just keep feeling like I don’t care because I am a female. It’s just like, I don’t mind if you don’t put me in a category. Like, even let’s say a billionaire, right? Like, I’d rather be the first billionaire female than just, ‘Oh, she’s a billionaire.’”

“I do like the identification. Like, I don’t mind it. I’m really one of those people that I love being a woman.”

Cardi B continues racking up accomplishments all the time. We’ll have to see what’s next for her, but those accolades are likely to continue as her long-awaited sophomore album drops, presumably sometime in 2021.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
