Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is certainly not having the best of times lately. James recently suffered a nasty injury to his right ankle during Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.

It was previously reported that James was going to be out indefinitely. Now more bad news regarding his recovery time has been revealed.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, LeBron James might be on the shelf for anywhere between four to six weeks.

It was also stated that Anthony Davis will be out of action for two weeks. Due to both top stars missing in action, it might as well be a death blow for The Los Angeles Lakers.

The competition in the Western Conference is very close right now and it would not take much for the Lakers to fall out of the top-eight seeds. We will have to see how the Lakers manage to function without LeBron James.
